When it all said and done

You may not believe in fate,

Until maybe you are late;

To see your future at the other end

To set your path right again.

Regret is but a common thought.

Wishing past things that were not,

Yet every lousy memory is a moment that had to be

For all those moments that shape me

Sadness, sorrow, and distraught

On this fateful day,

Regretting, forgetting, and rewinding.

All the never-ending things, and

All things I wish were not.
