Welcome (back) to my Blog!

Hi Readers!! I hope you are having a great day! Welcome back! And a most hearty welcome to my new subscribers!

Is it just me, or is the month of December flying by??? I cannot believe today is Christmas Day, and we only have six days of 2020 left!!!

First and foremost, I would like to apologize to my loyal readers for keeping you guys waiting for my next posts. Since election day, I haven't posted on this blog, and honestly, I have not been motivated since I got back from my vacation. Because I am a perfectionist, I want the contents I share with my readers to be something you all want to read. Lately, it's hard for me to focus on anything with everything going on in the world. As I look around me and I see so many lives consumed with loss. Loss of health, loss of life, loss of stability, loss of income, loss of peace of mind, loss of a parent/child/sibling/partner, and the list goes on and on.

When the world feels dark, and out of my control, I hunker down, look inward, and do what I can to regain the feeling of "I'm doing the best I can." I look outside for signs of life—indications of the presence of that which I have not seen with my own eyes. When life feels like a sad and scary place, it feels good to regain my footing by doing what I can to make sense of the little things gone awry. This may come in the form of learning new things every day or simply watching movies/shows and reconnecting with friends and families worldwide until I feel inspired.

And boy, do I feel inspired… and I cannot wait to share with you all.

As you can see, I've made some updates to the website, and the theme is, "let's go somewhere warm." I am excited for you guys to see what I have been working on, and in the upcoming days and weeks, I will have new writing materials on the blog section.

In the meantime, feel free to browse around, and if you haven't caught up on my previous blogs, please do.

With 2020 on the verge of ending, I want to say to those celebrating the holidays, whatever kind of day you may or may not be having, please choose peace. From my heart to yours wishing you love, and light.

See you soon in my next post.

Love Hassanatu xo
